We are inviting independent artists from around the world to submit original music for consideration on the official soundtrack of Barrington, a powerful new feature film about faith, family, and survival.

This is a music-focused opportunity designed to discover new voices and connect artists with real industry exposure.

About the Film

Barrington tells the true story of a young college student whose life is forever changed after a devastating freeway accident. As his family fights and prays for his survival, the film explores the contrast between youth culture, faith, and resilience.

The soundtrack plays a major role in telling this story, blending gospel, soul, jazz, R&B, and modern hip hop to reflect both struggle and hope.

Competition Overview

Submit one original song for consideration on the Barrington official soundtrack.

All submissions are reviewed by the film’s music team along with Forecast Media Group and WUFO.

This is a music-only competition. Film appearances may be offered separately and are optional.

Entry Fee $75 per song

Each submission includes full review for soundtrack placement, prize consideration, and potential distribution opportunities.

Artists may submit multiple songs. Each song requires its own entry fee.

Submission fees are non-refundable.

• $5,000 cash

Distribution Opportunity

For every 100 submissions received, 10 tracks will be selected for guaranteed digital distribution through The Orchard - SONY, regardless of prize placement.

Additional artists may receive non-cash recognition, radio exposure, or future development opportunities.

Artist Development

Selected artists may receive support that includes distribution guidance, branding consultation, playlist strategy, and consideration for future FMG projects.

This program is designed to help artists grow beyond the competition.
